AN APPLICATION FOR INTERIM MEASURES HAS BEEN MADE TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL AGAINST THE PROPOSED MOBILE PHONE ANTENNA IN LA CROISILLE

For your information, Mme MAKAROFF has just lodged an objection to the installation of a mobile phone antenna at Barnagaud with the administrative tribunal.

 

FOOTBALL: SUNDAY 18 MAY at 3pm – EVERYONE TO THE SPORTS GROUND FOR THE PROMOTION TO D3

The last match of the ESLCL season will take place on Sunday 18 May at the stade municipal (village sports ground) Jean Chassagne in La Croisille. This match is against Boisseuil, at 3pm. Come along to celebrate the promotion of our first team to D3.

INFOS MAIRIE

LE PROJET DE RENOUVELLEMNT DU CENTRE- BOURG DE LA CROISILLE-SUR-BRIANCE VIENT D’ÊTRE LABELLISE « VILLAGE D’AVENIR » PAR l’ETAT.

Mr le Préfet, vient d’appeler Mr Maire de La Croisille pour lui apprendre  l’engagement de l’état à soutenir le projet de renouvellement du Centre-bourg de La Croisille et de son classement dans le programme « Village d’Avenir ».

LE POINT DE L’AVANCEMENT DU PROJET

 

Aujourd’hui suite à toutes les réunions participatives avec les commerçants de la place et les habitants, le projet en est à la réalisation d’une étude de faisabilité chiffrée de l’opération pour la fin du mois de mai, sous réserve de l’obtention du levé topographique.

L’objectif est de programmer une réunion de présentation de cette étude de faisabilité au conseil municipal public vers la fin juin avec l’ensemble des intervenants (élus, ATEC, PNR, CAUE, ETAT « Village d’Avenir »). 

PLANNING 2025/2026 PROJETE POUR INFORMATION : 

• Etude de faisabilité Présentation en conseil municipal public avec tous les intervenants qui travaillent sur le dossier vers la fin juin
• Validation en conseil municipal fin de l’été voir à la rentrée
• Lancement de la consultation de maîtrise d’œuvre dès validation (septembre ou octobre)
• Dépôt de la demande de subvention auprès du CD87 au titre des CTD : septembre/octobre (sur la base de l’étude de faisabilité ATEC et l’ensemble des études préalablement réalisées)
• Recherche de financements avec Barbara Francesco du programme Village d’Avenir de l’état à partir de septembre/octobre
• Etudes préliminaires / AVP pour fin d’année 2025 voir début 2026

Ce qui implique que les travaux pourraient commencer dans le meilleur des cas au deuxième semestre 2026 ou au début 2027.

NEWS FROM THE MAIRIE

THE RENOVATION PROJECT FOR THE CENTRE OF LA CROISILLE SUR BRIANCE HAS JUST BEEN DESIGNATED ‘VILLAGE OF THE FUTURE’ BY THE STATE

1. le Préfet just called the Mayor of La Croisille to inform him of the commitment of the state to supporting the project to renovate the centre of La Croisille and of its inclusion in the programme “Village of the Future.”

 

UPDATE ON PROGRESS OF THE PROJECT

Today, following all the participatory meetings with the local business people and inhabitants, the project is undergoing a feasibility study and costing for the operation, due to be completed by the end of May, subject to the topographical survey.

The objective is to schedule a meeting to present this feasibility study to the municipal council towards the end of June with the presence of those involved (councillors, ATEC, PNR, CAUE, ETAT “Village d’Avenir”).

 

PROJECT PLANNING 2025/2026 FOR YOUR INFORMATION: 

• Presentation of the feasibility study to a public municipal council meeting with all those involved in working on the dossier towards the end of June.
• Approval by the municipal council at the end of the summer, around the beginning of September.
• Launch of tenders for the project following its approval (September or October).
• Submission of grant application to the CD87 under the CTD: September/October (based on the ATEC feasibility study and all previous studies)
• Search for funding with Barbara Francesco of the French government’s programme ‘Village d’Avenir’ from September/October.
• Preliminary studies/AVP for the end of the year 2025/beginning of 2026.

 

All this means that the work could start, in the best case scenario, in the second half of 2026 or in early 2027.

SATURDAY 26 APRIL – COMMEMORATION OF THE LIBERATION OF OFFENDORF, ALSACE, IN HONOUR OF THE REFUGEES WHO CAME TO LA CROISILLE SUR BRIANCE IN 1939

The Mayor of La Croisille has been invited by the municipality of Offendorf, in Alsace, to commemorate the 80^th anniversary of the liberation – in honour of the Alsace refugees from Offendorf, who came to live  in La Croisille during the Second World War.

 

INTRODUCTION TO BOTANY – SUNDAY 27 APRIL AT THE PELLE JAUNE

From 2pm to 5pm, Learn to describe and identify a flowering plant.

SPORTS CO-OPERATIVE LA CROISILLE/LINARDS – WEDNESDAY 30 APRIL – OPEN DAY

The ESCL is organising an Open Day at the village sports ground Jean Chassagne in La Croisille sur Briance.

From 10am to 12 noon, the U6 to U9 (born between 2017 and 2020) and from 2pm to 4.30pm the U10 to U13 (born from 2013 to 2016). From 6pm, open to girls aged 16 and over (with or without a licence).

The Mayor of La Croisille has been invited by the municipality of Offendorf, in Alsace, to commemorate the 80^th anniversary of the liberation – in honour of the Alsace refugees from Offendorf, who came to live  in La Croisille during the Second World War.

POURQUOI J’AI DECIDER DE ME REPRESENTER ?

Comme je l’avais annoncé, je ne souhaitais pas me représenter à la prochaine élection municipale afin de laisser la place à une nouvelle équipe.

Mais, l’appel cette semaine de monsieur le Préfet m’informant du classement par le ministère de notre projet phare de la réhabilitation du centre-bourg avec l’attribution des subventions associées, nécessite le suivi de ce dossier.

Travail entrepris depuis 3 ans maintenant, il devrait aboutir aux alentours de 2027.

N’ayant à ce jour personne pour continuer à porter cet important projet à son terme, je ne peux prendre le risque de voir échouer ce dossier déjà engagé au niveau ministériel.

Je souhaitais vraiment passer la main mais il me faut à nouveau me présenter à vos suffrages et je vais donc m’efforcer à mettre en place une nouvelle équipe municipale rajeunie et plurielle pour la prochaine mandature.

ÉVÉNEMENT MUSICAL : VIGON SERA A LA CROISILLE-SUR-BRIANCE LE 10 AOÛT PROCHAIN.

Première révélation du programme de la fête patronale de La Croisille-sur-Briance : la venue de VIGON ET LES ROLLING DOMINOS.

C’est avec VIGON une véritable légende de la Rock and soul music et du rythme and Blues qu’est allé chercher à Paris le Maire de La Croisille-sur-Briance pour le convaincre de venir chanter chez lui à sa fête patronale accompagné par son groupe les ROLLING DOMINOS, la crème des musiciens français de ce genre de musique.

VIGON viendra à La Croisille pour un seul et unique grand concert en limousin dans le cadre de sa tournée d’été. Cet événement gratuit est programmé le dimanche soir 10 août à 21h00 au stade municipal de La Croisille avant le feu d’artifice, qui clôturera comme tous les ans la grande fête patronale du samedi 9 et dimanche 10 août 2025.

Sur scène avec les plus grands :  Jimi HENDRIX, LES ROLLING STONES, Aretha FRANKLIN, Little RICHARD, Johnny HALLYDAY et bien d’autres.

Si VIGON a connu ses premières heures de gloire dans les années 1960 à Paris, au Bus Palladium et au Golf Drouot, c’est d’ailleurs là qu’il rencontra le futur maire de La Croisille Jean-Gérard DIDIERRE, ensuite VIGON collaborera ou chantera avec de nombreux artistes tels que Johnny HALLYDAY, Michel JONASZ, Alain CHAMFORT entre autres pour les Français, Et pour les stars internationales la liste va d’Aretha FRANKLIN à Little RICHARD, des ROLLING STONES à  Jimi HENDRIX, ou encore de Stevie WONDER à Otis REDDING.

Plus tard, lors de la première édition de The Voice, en 2012, la voix sensible de l’artiste interpelle avec un passage remarqué qui fera date. Par la suite, une rencontre avec Didier MARTY, le leader des ROLLING DOMINOS, fera naître VIGON and the Dominos. Une nouvelle ère se dessine alors, avec comme passion commune le rock’n’roll de Little RICHARD qu’ils joueront notamment à La Croisille mais pas seulement.

L’aventure entre eux débute au Petit Journal Montparnasse à Paris par un hommage au grand chanteur Fats DOMINO et la reprise de Blueberry Hill lors d’un bœuf.

C’est une révélation. Depuis, VIGON, la bête de scène à la voix rauque partage la scène de nombreux festivals de renom avec les onze musiciens du groupe des ROLLING DOMINOS.

La Croisille va avoir la chance d’entendre du vrai et du bon rock’n’roll et du rhythm’n’blues comme on l’aime, plein d’énergie, agréable, généreux et teinté de cuivres au possible par des artistes qui savent le jouer.

Avec une telle affiche le public viendra nombreux le dimanche soir à La Croisille, ne sera pas trompé et n’aura pas à boudé son plaisir.

WHY HAVE I DECIDED TO STAND AGAIN?

As you know, I had decided not to stand for re-election – until this week’s call from M. le Préfet, informing me that our flagship project to renovate the village centre had been classified by the Ministry, with the subsidies that go along with it.

As there is no-one in the outgoing team who can guarantee the continuation of this project in 2026, I am going to devote myself to continuing to support it – at least until the completion of this very important project to renovate our village centre.

I was really inclined to go and didn’t think that it would come to this. But, really, there is too great a risk that this project, essential for the future of La Croisille, would never come to fruition.

I am now going to do my best to put in place a rejuvenated and diverse municipal majority for the next term.

As you also know, it is a difficult time for the local communes at the moment, and my decision will also allow us to keep our secretary at the Mairie in place in the interests of our commune.

 A SCOOP: MUSICAL EVENT – VIGON WILL BE AT LA CROISILLE SUR BRIANCE ON 10 AUGUST

The first act to be revealed from the programme for the Fete Patronale at La Croisille sur Briance is VIGON ET LES ROLLING DOMINOS.

VIGON, a true legend of rock and soul music, and of rhythm and blues, and the Mayor of La Croisille sur Briance had to go to Paris to convince him to come and sing at the Fete Patronale. He will be accompanied by his group the ROLLING DOMINOS, the cream of French musicians of this musical genre.

VIGON will come to La Croisille for his one and only major concert in the Limousin – as part of his summer tour. This free event is scheduled for Sunday evening, 10 August, at 9pm – at the village sports ground in La Croisille. It will be prior to the fireworks, which, as every year, will bring to a close the great Fete Patronale of Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 August 2025. 

On stage with the greatest : Jimi HENDRIX, The Rolling Stones, Aretha FRANKLIN, Little RICHARD, Johnny HALLYDAY and plenty others.

Although VIGON found his first stardom in the 1960’s in Paris, at the Bus Palladium and the Golf Drouot, where he met the future Mayor of La Croisille, Jean-Gérard DIDIERRE, then VIGON went on to collaborate or sing with numerous artists – such as Johnny HALLYDAY, Michel JONASZ, Alain CHANFORT amongst other French artists. As for international stars, the list stretches from Aretha FRANKLIN to Little RICHARD, from the ROLLING STONES to Jimi HENDRIX, and even from Stevie WONDER to Otis REDDING.

Later, during the first edition of The Voice, in 2012, the artist’s sensitive voice made a remarkable impact with a performance that went down in history. Following that, a meeting with Didier MARTY, the leader of the ROLLING DOMINOS, led to the birth of VIGON and the Dominos. A new era began, with a shared passion for the rock ‘n’ roll of Little RICHARD that they will play at La Croisille – but not only that.

The adventure between them started at the Petit Journal Montparnasse in Paris, with a tribute to the great singer Fats DOMINO and a cover of ‘Blueberry Hill’ during a jam session.

It was a revelation. Since then VIGON, the raucous-voiced performer has shared the stage with the 11 musicians of the ROLLING DOMINOS group at numerous renowned festivals.

La Croisille will have the chance to hear some really great rock ‘n’ roll and rhythm and blues, just the way we love it – full of energy and fun, tinged with the sound of brass from artists who know how to play it.

 With a line-up like this, people will come in their droves to La Croisille on Sunday evening, and they won’t be disappointed .

Coming up in the next few weeks are the other great acts on the programme for the Fete Patronale 2025 at La Croisille on 9 and 10 August at the sports ground.

RENOVATION OF THE VILLAGE CENTRE: LA CROISILLE PART OF THE PROGRAMME “SMALL TOWN OF TOMORROW”

Mr le Préfet recently called Mr le Maire to inform him that two communes in the Haute Vienne (St Hilaire les Places and La Croisille sur Briance) had just been selected by the Ministry for the programme “Small Town of Tomorrow”. He has appointed Mme Barbara Francesco from the Prefecture to accompagny the commune with ATEC, the PNR and the CAUE for this important dossier.

The planting of a new hedge on the afternoon of Tuesday 8 April at the lake at Nouailhas as part of the operation HAIECOLIER with the association ACCA, the commune’s school and the commune’s technical team.

 SAMEDI 29 MARS UN CONFÉRENCE D’HERVÉ COVES « L’HUMANITÉ REMPART CONTRE L’ARIDITÉ »

Face au dérèglement climatique, nous ne sommes pas impuissants c’est ce que nous dira Hervé Covès lors d’une conférence le samedi 29 mars à 17h salle des fêtes de La Croisille-sur-Briance organisée par L’association « Qu’est-ce qu’on attend ? »

Qui est-il ?

Ingénieur agronome, Hervé Covès accompagne aujourd’hui ceux qui veulent se former à l’agroécologie et à la permaculture. Son parcours professionnel et spirituel est celui d’un contemplatif. En 2014, à un peu plus de 50 ans il est devenu religieux franciscain, membre de l’ordre fondé par saint François d’Assise, patron de l’écologie.

À la fin des années 70, il a commencé à travailler pour la Chambre d’agriculture de la Corrèze. A ce moment-là, « l’idée c’était vraiment de nourrir le monde ». Et on en est venu à utiliser de la farine animale pour nourrir les troupeaux.  » Nourrir le monde à n’importe quel prix : plus tard on l’a payé cher.

Je me suis dit ‘Hervé tu es en train de tuer des gens’. Dans ce système où les agriculteurs « ne vivent plus de leur métier », on « ne donne plus une vraie valeur aux choses ». Le drame pour un agriculteur c’est que le prix de son effort est décidé arbitrairement depuis Bruxelles. 

« La campagne m’a révélé quelque chose de la beauté du monde. »

Mais sa conversion, il l’a vécue des années après, au cours d’un voyage d’étude en Guyane.

à 20h30 Ciné fiction : « Une île et une nuit », un film des pirates des Lentillères (Dijon), 2021-2023, tournage 16mm, projection numérique,1h40. Suivi d’un échange avec les membres du collectif. Prix libre (pas de repas) Autour du feu, voyageurs et pirates se racontent leurs souvenirs, leurs rêves, leurs batailles. D’une langue à l’autre, de récit en récit se font entendre le grondement de la tempête et le bruissement des feuilles, les sirènes menaçantes et les danses endiablées, le choc des sabres et le chant des oiseaux. SATURDAY 29 MARCH – A CONFERENCE FROM HERVE COVES, “HUMANITY DEFENDS ITSELF AGAINST ARIDITY”

Faced with the changing climate, we are not powerless – this is what Hervé Coves is telling us during a conference on Saturday 29 March at 5pm in La Croisille’s village hall. This is organised by the association “Qu’est-ce qu’on attend?”

Who is he?

An agricultural engineer, Hervé Coves today works with those who want to learn about agro-ecology and permaculture. His professional and spiritual path is that of a contemplative. En 2014, at just over 50 years old, he became a Franciscan, member of an order founded by Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology.

At the end of the seventies, he started to work for the Chamber of Agriculture in the Correze. At that time, “the idea was really to feed the world.” And he came to use animal meal to feed the herds. “To feed the world at any price”: later paying dearly for it.

I said to myself “Hervé, you are killing people.” In this system where farmers “no longer make a living from their work”, one “no longer puts a true value on things.” The tragedy, for a farmer, is that the price of his efforts is arbitrarily decided by Brussels.

“The countryside has revealed something of the beauty of the world to me.”

But his conversion came years later, during a study trip to French Guiana.

FILM “ONE ISLE AND ONE NIGHT” ON TUESDAY 1^st APRIL AT THE PELLE JAUNE

At 8.30pm, a fiction film “One isle and one night”, a film from the pirates of the Lentilleres (Dijon), 2021-2023, shot in 16mm, digital projection, 1h40m. Followed by a discussion with the members of the collective. Entry by donation (no meal). Around the fire, travellers and pirates recount their memories, their dreams, their battles. From one language to another, from one tale to another, you can hear the roar of the storm and the rustling of the leaves, the menacing mermaids and the frenzied dances, the clash of sabres and the singing of the birds. Until dawn, a thousand and one paths take shape on this imaginary, but very real, island.

Chloé et Aleksandra – whose works were on display at the bookshop in the summer – will present the fruits of their artistic collaboration. It is at 7.30pm. Free entry.

The Mutuelle MUTUALIA will re-start its regular visits on Tuesday 25 March, from 9am to 12 noon at the Mairie.
