Le mois de septembre a le goût particulier des retrouvailles, de la vie qui reprend avec intensité après la pause estivale.
C’est un moment joyeux, chaleureux, pour chacune et chacun d’entre nous et en premier lieu pour les petits Crouzillauds(et pour leurs parents !) qui ont repris le chemin de l’école.
Cette année encore, nous avons profité de l’été pour réaliser quelques travaux pour accueillir les élèves dans les meilleures conditions possibles.
Un grand merci aux agents de la Commune et à nos deux maîtresses Laura et Virginie qui ont travaillé pour que cette rentrée se passe de la meilleure des manières. Bonne rentrée à toutes et à tous !!!
L’autre point marquant de cet été est que nous avons eu particulièrement chaud. Après une première canicule dès le mois de mai qui avait mis nos écoles à rude épreuve, nous avons lancé les consultations pour climatiser nos classes communales malgré le désengagement de l’État.
Cet été, le réchauffement climatique a été particulièrement tangible, davantage que les années précédentes et sans doute un peu moins que certaines années à venir. Bien sûr, on sait que l’augmentation des températures n’est pas uniforme d’une année sur l’autre, mais pour reprendre les mots de la climatologue Françoise Vimeux, « cet été sera le plus frais du reste de notre vie ».
Face à cela, nous devons poursuivre et intensifier notre effort d’adaptation.
Chacun le fait individuellement bien sûr. Mais cela doit aussi guider notre action municipale pour le projet à venir du centre-bourg.
Bien sûr, tout ne peut pas être fait en un jour, bien sûr, l’argent que nous investirons ici ne pourra pas être dépensé ailleurs, mais avec l’équipe qui m’accompagne, le sujet nous semble prioritaire pour notre qualité de vie à La Croisille dans les années à venir.
Nous avons au mois de septembre eu l’occasion de nous retrouver le samedi 5 septembre avec la Crouzillaude qui est toujours un très grand succès populaire.
Bien d’autres événements rythmeront notre vie municipale, à commencer celles proposées par nos associations qui permettent à chacun de trouver avec l’activité associative, l’engagement qui lui convient. C’est l’occasion aussi de rendre hommage à tous les bénévoles qui s’engagent pour rendre cela possible.

EDITORIAL
September has a feel of reunions, of life picking up again with renewed vigour after the summer break.
It is a joyful, heart-warming time for each of us, and most of all for the little Crouzillauds (and their parents!) who have returned to school.
Once again this year, we have used the summer period to carry out some work so that we can welcome the pupils in the best possible conditions.
A big thank you to the council staff and to our two teachers, Laura and Virginie, who have worked hard to ensure this start to the term goes as well as possible. We wish you all a great start to the new school year!
The other notable aspect of this summer is that it was particularly hot. Following an initial heatwave in May, which put our schools under considerable strain, we launched consultations on fitting our local school classrooms with air conditioning, despite the government’s withdrawal of support.
This summer, global warming was particularly noticeable – more than in previous years, and no doubt slightly less so than in some years to come. Of course, we know that temperature rises are not consistent from one year to the next, but to quote the climatologist Françoise Vimeux, ‘this summer is the coolest of the rest of our lives’.
In light of this, we must go on and step up our efforts to adapt.
Everyone is doing their bit individually, of course. But that must also guide the council’s actions in the planned project on the village centre.
Of course, not everything can be done in a day, and of course the money we will be investing here cannot be spent elsewhere, but along with the team accompanying me, this subject seems a priority for the quality of life in La Croisille in the years to come.
In September, we had the occasion to come together on Saturday 5 September for the Crouzillaude, which is always a very popular success.
Many other events liven up our community life, starting with those organised by our local organisations, which allow everyone to find the sports club, community activity or voluntary role that suits them best. It is also the time to pay tribute to all the volunteers who dedicate their time to making this possible.
I look forward to seeing you all again soon at these events!

TUESDAY 22 SEPTEMBER: MEETING OF THE FORESTRY OWNERS OF LA CROISILLE REGARDING THE SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF THE FORESTS
The Mairie of La Croisille sur Briance, with the National Centre of Forestry Property, invites the forestry owners of the commune to a meeting of exchange and information on the theme of sustainable management of the forests on Tuesday 22 September at 6.30pm in the small village hall in La Croisille.

The Mairie of La Croisille, in conjunction with SYDED, is offering you a free training session and giving you a large composter plus a kitchen waste caddy – free of charge.
On the programme – the basics of composting, natural gardening (chipping, using straw, mulching etc), tips for composting with compost heaps or with a composter.
